The first trailer for the “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff is here, and it is sexy and stressful

Shondaland is there for us in a way that only the best of friends and family are, TBH. As if we didn’t already have enough great content that basically qualifies as therapy every Thursday night, the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff, Station 19 is set to join the TGIT line-up March 22nd at 9 p.m.

Unlike Private Practice, the other Grey’s spinoff, Station 19 doesn’t stay in the medical realm at all. Instead, it follows a group of Seattle firefighters. And in typical Grey’s Anatomy fashion, Station 19 obviously follows said firefighters both professionally and personally, and we’re super excited to see what kind of drama gets stirred up in this new world.

And obvs, even though it isn’t a medical show, per se, as we see in the trailer, the firefighters often end up in Seattle Grace for one reason or another, which opens the possibility of seeing more of our fave Grey’s characters on Station 19 (hi, Meredith!). But we’re also excited about this new cast of characters. In addition to Jason George as Ben Warren, there’s a diverse (and incredibly good-looking) cast of characters for us to get to know and love, as we inevitably do with Shondaland shows.

Not to mention, we’re also stoked to see Jay Hayden — Danny in The Catch — back in Shondaland as Travis Montgomery!

If you’re an avid CW fan, you might recognize not just Jay Hayden as Rebecca Bunch’s doctor on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but another actor, too. Grey Damon will play Jack Gibson on Station 19, but prior to this, he spent a ton of time on the CW and Freeform in shows like The Secret Circle, Starcrossed, Twisted, Greek, and 10 Things I Hate About You. So yeah! Lots to look forward to.

We can already sense there’s going to be a LOT of drama, and we are SO down.
