What time is the State of the Union address today?

Tonight, January 30th, marks the much-anticipated State of the Union address which President Donald Trump will give at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT. You can catch the address on almost every major broadcast network, including CNN, Fox, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS. For the trendy millennials out there who don’t have cable, PBS NewsHour will host a live stream on YouTube, or you can watch it on Twitter here.

According to Politico, 58% of voters want Trump to discuss jobs and the economy in his address, while 59% of voters want Trump to address health care. We know when it comes to Trump there’s no guarantee that he’ll stay on script, but he’s technically expected to discuss trade, jobs and the economy — there’s no word yet that health care will be discussed.

Trump will also supposedly address immigration, a topic that has become increasingly contentious following his “shithole countries” comment. His recent immigration reform proposal included an opportunity for citizenship for Dreamers in exchange for a border wall (a reform that has since been stalled).

Many speculate that Trump will take a hardline nationalist approach in his address, building on the theme of creating a “safe, strong and proud America,” as Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee said in a recent statement.

Many are cynical about what to expect.

Only time will tell how the 2018 address goes down. So if you plan to watch, set your alarms for 9 p.m. ET. We have a feeling they’ll be a lot to unpack this time tomorrow…
