Starburst pink-only packs are finally here, and dreams really do come true
It’s no secret that the pink Starburst is the most beloved of Starbursts. That’s why, hearing the public’s demand, pink-only Starburst packs have finally hit shelves.
The candy company decided to launch pink-only packs at the behest of their (very vocal) candy fans.
"On social media we're seeing people talk about pink Starburst more than any other flavor; there's even a meme about being treated 'like a Pink Starburst,'" Matt Montei, senior director of confections at Wrigley (Starburst's parent company), told Mashable about the choice. "The Pink conversation and fanfare has continued to grow so we decided to act."
Starburst announced the limited edition pink-only packs way back in March, but until now, only very lucky celebs and social media influencers were able to get their hands on the strawberry squares.
Now, the pink-only Starbursts are available at Walgreens, Walmart, Target, and Kroger – but if you’re one of those people who likes to avoid human contact whenever possible (we get it), then you can always order on Amazon.
You wouldn’t be alone – the pink-only packs are Amazon’s #1 best-selling candy right now.
So far, Starbursts has refrained from making any #MillennialPink jokes (that we know of), but even if they did: We know that the pink Starburst is always in style.
