Starbucks will now serve Teavana Wellness Teas for when you’re sick

Calling all snifflers, tissue hoarders, and non-stop coughers. You need to get yourselves to a Starbucks, stat. Starbucks is now serving four Teavana Wellness beverages that will help you get over the cold and flu season hump.

Starbucks will now serve the Citrus Defender, the Defense Wellness Tea, the Rev Up Wellness Tea, and the Comfort Wellness tea. All four blends were crafted to boost your immune system, improve energy levels, and get you back on your feet and feeling your best.

The Teavana brand introduced seven loose-leaf Wellness teas back in 2016 to promote and support customers’ healthy lifestyles. Defense, Rev Up, and Comfort are all pre-existing blends. The Citrus Defender Wellness brew, however, is kind of like a Teavana “secret menu” option. It’s made with the Defense Wellness Tea, Vitamin C, steamed lemonade, and honey.

And as good as the Citrus Defender sounds for those of us battling a nasty cold, the other three Teavana Wellness teas now available at Starbucks sound just as heavenly.

The Defense Wellness tea, for example, is "a blend of white tea, blackberry leaves and amaranth grain, plus 50 percent of recommended daily value of vitamin C," Starbucks states.

The Rev Up Wellness tea will give you a boost of energy while promoting a healthy metabolism. The fruity flavored beverage contains “second-flush Darjeeling black tea,” green tea, and Chinese oolong tea.

Finally, the Comfort Wellness tea is a blend of ginger, spearmint, and peppermint. It’s soothing and balancing and perfect to sip while winding down from the day.

It may be cold and flu season, but it’s tea season as well! Get your sniffling self to your local Starbucks and start feeling your winter best.
