Starbucks just released a cold brew-infused whipped cream, and get ready to drool
If you’re anything like us, you probably want to welcome this warm spring weather with a cold drink from Starbucks. Hey, you’re only human. And good news — Starbucks just unveiled a new whipped cream to top that drink — and it sounds insanely delicious.
It’s called the “sweet cold brewed whipped cream,”and according to the Starbucks website, it’s literally infused with cold brew, as well as a mix of their dark caramel sauce and white chocolate mocha sauce. Debbie Antonio, senior manager for Starbucks R&D, thinks it’s the perfect addition to the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino, saying, “Right away, you taste something different with the sweet cold brew whipped cream.”
Launching in the United States and Canada today, May 1st, sweet cold brew whipped cream is now an option for your Ultra Caramel and Triple Mocha Frappuccino. Not like we needed an excuse to try out either of these, but the whipped cream is totally a selling point. You can also give it a shot on any of the hot or cold beverages on the Starbucks menu for an added price of 50 cents. IOHO, that’s well worth it to experience a coffee-flavored whipped cream.
This isn’t the first time Starbucks has experimented with their whipped cream (holla, pumpkin spice whipped cream fall 2016), and fingers crossed it’s not the last. FYI: We’re not sure how long the sweet cold brew whipped cream will be available, so you might want to make a Starbucks run ASAP to ensure you don’t miss out.
