Starbucks’s “Sangria Red Tea” is keeping the ombré drink trend alive

It seems like Starbucks comes out with a new drink every week, and we’re totally fine with that. Because fun, new, delicious drinks lift our spirits. And Starbucks’ Sangria Red Tea, a new color-changing beverage, might be our favorite new summertime addition.

Ombré in a cup? Yes, please.

Starbucks has created a brand new drink called the Sangria Red Tea. The actual ingredients aren’t listed on the company’s website, but we’re guessing it includes Teavana Berry Sangria Herbal Tea, which was a big hit last summer, along with some regular ol’ orange juice on the bottom. And since it’s Sangria, of course there’s a mix of apples, oranges, and possibly grapes.

Take a look at how it’s made:

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Sangria is completely alcohol-free (it’s Starbucks, after all) and only available in Korea. Since Korea would be a long way to travel for Starbucks’ Sangria Red Tea, you’ll only be able to treat your eyes to the beauty of this drink.

Good thing Instagram is here for you. The Starbucks Sangria Red Tea is pretty, and that means it’s Insta-worthy. And there doesn’t seem to be a lack of shared pictures, that’s for sure.

So yeah, she’s a real beauty. Even though it’s only available in Korea for now, that doesn’t mean you can’t attempt to make it yourself. As long as you use the right ingredients and put it in a Starbucks cup (for good measure), you’ll have your very own ombré summertime drink.
