Starbucks is preparing for Pumpkin Spice Latte season — here’s how

It’s official. The time has come: Pumpkin spice latte season is almost upon us, and Starbucks is prepared. We love everything pumpkin spice. From a NARS copper-toned palette that looks like our favorite drink, to a man who made the biggest pumpkin spice latte and drank it all, we’re pretty obsessed with the seasonal flavor of all seasonal flavors.

So what does Starbucks do to prepare for the busiest season for one particular flavor? Well, you’ll be surprised to find out.

First of all, Starbucks put their official pumpkin spice latte Twitter account back into action. And while there isn’t anything from the account that tells us exactly what the franchise plans to do, or when our beloved PSL will actually be sold, Starbucks tweeted that they’ll be branching out.

That’s right. Into pumpkin spice fragrance.

"I'm alllllmost back," the tweet reads.

Still though, we don’t have a confirmation from Starbucks on when we are getting our favorite drink back in stores. What is this? A waiting game?

In the past, we’ve had to wait before, but now it seems as if we’re just not getting a date. However, baristas have told Reddit that PSL sauce is back in stock, with a release date of September 5th. But still, there is no official confirmation when we’ll be getting our favorite drink at our fingertips.

Will Starbucks surprise us all by just having it ready for us one day? We’ll have to wait and see.

So not only can you drink your favorite pumpkin spice everything, but now you can smell like it, too. From candles to this new smell, we’re going to be bathing in all things pumpkin spice. It is pumpkin spice season, after all.
