Starbucks has a Pumpkin Spice Latte livestream because none of us can escape

This is probably the best marketing tactic of all time. To pre-empt the arrival of the much beloved PSL, Starbucks started a Pumpkin Spice Latte livestream. What is there to watch, you might ask? KITTENS. The answer is KITTENS, y’all. As of 11 a.m. EST, Starbucks is building the anticipation for Pumpkin Spice Lattes on their Facebook page with this truly adorable livestream. Honestly, we’re overwhelmed. And apparently, it’s only going to get better.

You can see the livestream on Starbucks’ Facebook page any time you like, and we highly recommend keeping an eye on it while it’s up through Monday.

Sitting inside, staring at your computer, is definitely how you planned to spend Labor Day, right?

In addition to truly adorable kittens, rumor has it that this livestream will have some additional benefits. Like “live” music. And celebrity guests. And, again, KITTENS.

It’s not like we weren’t already counting down the days until we could get our hands on this coveted autumnal staple, but man. Starbucks has our number, because now we’re considering camping outside of our local Starbucks until the Pumpkin Spice Latte is officially available.

While we don’t yet know when the PSL will “hatch,” we do know that when the video ends on Monday, it’ll be seen out with something BIG. (Bigger than KITTENS, guys. Wow.) So, y’know. Maybe we’re getting the latte early this year?

The only way to find out is to keep your eyes on the KITTENS. We’re not even mad.
