Starbucks’s new Frappuccino lets you choose your own adventure

We have good news and we have bad news. The good news: Starbucks’s new Earl Grey Frappuccino puts all the power in your hands. The bad news: You’re going to have to get on a plane to get it, because it’s only being served in Japan — for now, at least. But the Frappuccino is also fully customizable, so if it catches on over there, maybe they’ll decide to offer the same options in America.

According to Bustle, the new Frappuccino sounds absolutely delicious, especially if you’re a fan of tea. On the Starbucks Japan website, it shares all the ways you can customize the drink to fit whatever taste you’re in the mood for (although, unless you’re fluent in Japanese, you’re probably going to have to translate the page first). You decide how much tea goes into the drink, so the strength of the flavor is totally up to you. Plus, it comes topped with honey sweet cream, which sounds seriously amazing. Why does Japan get all the good stuff? It’s enough to consider making a major move across the world.

Plus, the Earl Grey Frappuccino is so beautiful. Look at this photo and tell us you’re not drooling:

Sadly, there’s nothing really comparable in American Starbucks stores. Maybe a blended chai? Or a Sweet Cream Cold Brew? Still, nothing is going to truly be able to replicate this new frapp, so start tweeting your demands at Starbucks now. You never know — they might actually listen.

In the meantime, it might be a great time to plan a trip to Asia. You know, for the culture. And yeah, for the coffee.
