Starbucks barista gets his dance on and now we all want a latte
What gets us going in the morning better than Starbucks? A dance party, that’s what. And if these two things go together hand-in-hand? ALL OF THE YES.
While I think we can all agree that Starbucks is a magical place (pumpkin spice, anyone?), it’s typically not a party up in there. I mean, people tend to go to get their caffeine fix while they work on their laptops, chat with friends, read a book or stare at the their phones. Not drop it like it’s hot.
Until a few days ago, when Robert Ashwander pulled up to the drive-thru of his local Starbucks in Webster, Texas, and found himself in the middle of a full-on PAR-TAY.
Yes, you guys. That just happened.
The barista is getting his groove on to The Weeknd’s I Can’t Feel My Face, which has basically become the anthem of late summer. We’re not exactly sure how this situation came about. In a video of the (totally awesome) incident, which Robert posted to Facebook (thank you, Internet gods), it sort of sounds like the music is coming from the vehicle. We’re imagining a scene in which Robert and his friend pull up to the drive-thru, the barista hears the song, yells “THAT’S MY JAM!” and proceeds to morph into Beyonce. The only thing we know for sure is that we want this to happen at our Starbucks. Like, yesterday.
Watch the video in its entirety below. We dare you not to dance along.
