Kate Hudson freaking out over the latest “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” trailer is literally all of us
After what felt like an eternity, the official full-length trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrived on Monday night. The Last Jedi trailer was so good, it was almost impossible to watch — even for celebrities. Actor Josh Gad filmed his Marshall costar Kate Hudson watching the trailer for the first time, and her reaction to that moment is literally all of us.
It was obvious that Hudson wasn’t ready for the Star Wars trailer.
Curled up, holding her phone, Hudson watched the latest Last Jedi trailer. Her eyes get wider, then softer, as she views the action. Everyone’s heart races the first time they see a Star Wars trailer, right? But then, at one moment toward the end — you know the one — BOOM.

And same, Kate!! Same!!!
Now that the (likely) final Last Jedi trailer is finally out, the countdown to the film’s December 15th release is on.
There are so many questions we wish we could have answered before December, though. And we’re sure these are questions Hudson is asking herself too: Is Rey going to the Dark Side? Is Kylo Ren really trying to take out his mom, General Leia Organa? Why aren’t there more porgs?! It’s too much!
While fans have to wait until December to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi, we are thankfully in the final stretch (at least it’s fall!). In the meantime, we’ll be watching the Last Jedi trailer again and again — and will take solace knowing that Hudson is probably struggling with the wait for the film’s release too.
