Everyone showed up to Star Wars Celebration and made the same exact “Star Wars” joke
Today (and for the next four days) Star Wars fans all over the world are gathered in Orlando, Florida, to celebrate the galaxy far, far away. The 2017 Star Wars Celebration kicks off today, celebrating 40 years of the franchise, as well as the upcoming film, Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.
Fans flocking to Orlando are rightfully thrilled to be celebrating the beloved franchise and many have taken to twitter to show off their excitement — with the same joke. In The Force Awakens, Han Solo and Chewbacca reunite with the millennium and Han utters the phrase, “Chewie, we’re home.”

Now, fans have taken ownership of this quote as they enter the Orange County Convention center. They all probably think they are the only one to crack this joke, but well…

While in most cases, “Chewie, we’re home” is paired with the celebration poster, the use of the quote has become an adorable show of excitement for the celebration itself. false

While we think it’s hilarious that everyone made the same joke, we also can’t help but be charmed by it. The Celebration looks packed with an amazing celebration of the franchise but we’re also holding out hope we learn a ~little~ about what to expect from The Last Jedi.
