Character posters for the new ‘Star Wars’ movie are wow. wow. wow.
Just when you thought there wasn’t a way to be MORE excited for the new Star Wars, they go ahead and release some awesome character posters that knock your socks off. The official film poster for The Force Awakens was released two weeks ago, and it shows all our old — and new! — favorites together. But these new posters get us super up close and personal with a select few characters, and we’re loving them. They’re amazing. Have you ever wanted a poster of just Princess Leia’s face? That time is now.
The five brand new images feature Leia (Carrie Fisher), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). This is the closet look we’ve gotten at these character so far — and it’s literally a close look. They’re head shots, and in the case of Kylo Ren we still don’t get to see his face, only the black mask he wears which is totally reminiscent of Darth Vader.
Even though they’re not wearing masks, everyone else has their face partially obstructed, too, whether it’s from a lightsaber (YEAH, Finn!) or a blaster. In Leia’s case, she’s standing behind some green holographic beam, and it makes me think of the OG Rebel Station.
