Well, it’s official — 2017 is already looking like it’s going to be off to a great start. There’s going to be a DuckTales reboot, and WE CAN’T WAIT. Because nostalgia is exactly what we need to heal our hearts from the terror that has been 2016. The DuckTales reboot casthas been announced, and you guys, get ready for some serious hilarity.
The original DuckTales TV show ran from 1987 to 1990, right at the peak of many of our childhoods. It was a huge success, and those ducks (and the theme song) have never left our hearts and minds.
Disney is bringing back DuckTales, and so many hilarious humans have joined the cast.
In a video released by Disney XD on Friday of the entire cast singing the beloved DuckTales theme song, we have learned exactly who will be making our hearts sore once again. David Tennant (Doctor Who) will be voicing Scrooge McDuck.
McDuck’s adorable and mischievous nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie will be voiced by Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation), and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live). Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live) will be the voice of Launchpad McQuack, while Toks Olagundoye (Castle) will be Mrs Beakley and Kate Micucci (Another Period) will play Webby Vanderquack.
So like we said, get ready to LOL.
