Holy ’90s! The Spice Girls might be touring with the Backstreet Boys
Backstreet’s back…with the Spice Girls?! Alright! Maybe!
Word on the street is, the Spice Girls might be teaming up with the Backstreet Boys for a joint tour (I see you, law of attraction). “The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bouncing around for the past year and a half, and it’s something we’re still talking about,” Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean told Rolling Stone this week.
Granted, Victoria Beckham has insisted on staying out of any Spice Girl reunions (C’MON, POSH), but that hasn’t stopped the Spice Girls from entertaining the idea of a 20th anniversary reunion tour. Now, with Backstreet possibly in the mix, we’re starting to think this may actually materialize.
Not to be too optimistic, but the Backstreet Boys did say they were back in studio. And they’ve got that big Backstreet cruise coming up in May. It might be wise to premiere a few new tunes on tour. Just sayin’.
So please, make our ’90s fantasies come true, and do the tour. We’ll be waiting with our fingers crossed (with mood rings, of course).
