Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams debut matching tattoos at the Emmys, and we’re freaking out
The Emmys were in full swing last night, and everyone was debuting jaw-dropping red carpet looks that we’ll be attempting to recreate in the coming days, weeks, and months…
But two ladies in particular caught our attention: Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones. And it wasn’t their dresses that made us go wild (although they were stunning!) — it was their subtle body art.
Okay, so remember when we reported that they got matching BFF tattoos?
According to MTV News, Turner’s tattoo was visible on her forearm at the Emmys. As we know, it’s the date “07.08.09” which marks the day that Turner and Williams became Stark sisters on GOT. Aww! So much YES.

We’ve got to hand it to Turner, the unexpected peach colored engraving looks awesome.
Turner admitted to E! on the red carpet that she and Williams always said they “wanted matching tattoos,” and we love that they’ve cemented their friendship with a gorgeous, permanent tribute that is so unique to them.
Also, it hasn’t gone unnoticed that they hashtag their photos with “mophie.”
