Guitarist Sophie Lloyd Speaks Out Against Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Cheating Rumors
Megan Fox is allegedling that infidelity played a role in her rumored split from MGK.
Sophie Lloyd is taking control of the narrative. The rock guitarist found herself in the middle of a lovers’ quarrel between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly after the actress alleged that her fiancé cheated on her with his bandmate.
Lloyd has been part of MGK’s music camp since 2022. She was brought on ahead of his “Mainstream Sellout Tour” in May of that year.
In a statement to Page Six, Lloyd’s management team not only deemed the infidelity rumors as untrue, but labeled it a “disrespectful” act against her music and professional relationship with MGK.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” her management team told the outlet.
“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else,” they concluded.

Furthermore, Lloyd appears to be in a long term relationship. In January, her and boyfriend Christopher Painter, who also happens to be a musician, celebrated their five-year anniversary.
“Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, kindness, generosity, care, silliness and your love. You get me like no one else does and have been my rock for 5 solid years,” Painter wrote in a loving tribute to Lloyd on Instagram.
Over Super Bowl weekend, Fox erased all her photos with MGK on Instagram only to delete her account hours later. However, in the interim, she uploaded a cryptic post set to the lyrics of Beyoncé’s “Pray You Catch Me.”
“He probably got with Sophie,” a fan commented on Fox’s post, to which she responded, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”
Fans started to get even more worried after Fox was spotted without her engagement ring. Sources say the couple are working on mending their relationship. But, they have yet to publicly — including on social media — address the status of their romance.
MGK also hasn’t come forward to deny or confirm the cheating rumors made against him and Lloyd.
