This new song by ‘NSYNC, BSB, 98 Degrees, and O-Town is so ’90s
ICYMI, the Backstreet Boys and ‘NSYNC are teaming up (yaaaaas!). . . to make a movie about zombies called Dead 7. Yes, seriously. OK, now that you’ve recovered from that information, you may want to sit down, because it turns out that our fave boy bands won’t be disappointing us on the musical front, either. That’s right: ‘NSYNC and BSB teamed up with 98 Degrees and O-Town to share the movie’s theme song that is straight outta our ’90s dreams. And we don’t care who you are, where you’re from, what you did — you’re gonna love it.
The Dead 7 theme song, entitled “In The End,” features the lovely vocal talents of ‘NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick; BSB’s A.J. McLean, Nick Carter, and Howie Dorough; 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons; and O-Town’s Erik-Michael Estrada. We didn’t even know that “90s apocalyptic” could be a genre, but we’re not gonna lie. . . the boys have proven us wrong.
“Think about it,” Nick Carter of BSB told BuzzFeed last year. “Boy-banders, people from the late ‘90s, people who you love, fighting zombies in a post-apocalyptic world. Pretty crazy, right?”
Pretty crazy, indeed. Oh, and thanks to BuzzFeed, you don’t have to wait for the film’s debut this Friday, April 1st (when we’ll find out once and for all if this is actually an April Fool’s joke) to hear the new sure-to-be hit. Like, we get that this all could be a joke, but for a joke, “In The End” is pretty darn catchy. Petition for ‘NYSNC, BSB, 98 Degrees, and O-Town to make a full album together? Yes, please.
