Someone made this goldfish a wheelchair, and it will remind you that the world can be good

If you’re feeling weary about the state of the world, here’s something that’ll remind you that kindness still exists — someone made a goldfish a wheelchair, and now the little creature can properly float upright like his friends. Taylor Dean, whose friend Derek works at a local aquarium, shared the crafty, adorable invention on Twitter and animal lovers everywhere collectively gasped “our hearts!”
Derek made the wheelchair for a customer’s pet goldfish, who has a bladder condition that prevents him from swimming upright.
When he learned that the goldfish was stuck at the bottom of his tank, Derek created the wheelchair by wrapping airline tubing around the little guy and attaching valves.

"I added weights to the bottom of the 'chair' and something to keep him afloat on top (styrofoam), and slowly removed pieces until I achieved just the right buoyancy to make it easy for him to swim around without feeling like he's dragging around a chair," Derek told BuzzFeed.
Dean shared an update, and we can all rest assured that the goldfish in question is loving his new wheelchair.
