Solange shares a throwback pic of her wedding day hives, and we’ve all been there

The bridal game was forever changed with Solange’s all-white New Orleans wedding back in 2014. You may recall how she served up major looks on her big day, including a Kenzo gown and cape for the ceremony and a Stephane Rolland jumpsuit for the reception. From the outside, it looked pretty epic. A brass band, wedding photos that will go down in history, and a bridal party that includes Beyoncé doesn’t sound half bad. Who knew that somewhere amidst all the fun and fierceness, Solange had an allergic reaction on her wedding day?!

Yesterday, Solange shared a picture from her nuptials with irritated skin and welts. Girl, we’ve all been there.

Isn’t it always the important days when your skin chooses to act crazy? Valentine’s Day breakouts, sunburns on picture day, oh and bad hair days are inexplicably linked to interviews and first dates, guaranteed. (Story time: First day of college, I woke up with an enormous swollen lip for no reason. First time I slept at my boo’s house I woke up with one eye swollen shut, and once, I was so nervous for a meeting, I broke out in hives on my shoulders and was, of course, wearing a shoulder-baring dress.)
