Sofía Vergara redefined wedding dress goals in this bombshell gown at the 2017 Emmys

Ow ow! Sofía Vergara is always a total bombshell on any red carpet. But at the 2017 Emmy awards, the Modern Family actress may have outdone herself. Slipping into a truly stunning white mermaid gown, the 45-year-old actress put her curves on display and instantly shut down the carpet. Seriously, this lady just plain nailed it.

Forgoing a bigger designer name in favor of a Mark Zunino confection, Sofía delivered all the pizazz and va va voom we’ve come to expect from her outfits. With a plunging neckline, dramatic ruching and a voluminous tail, the dress proved an unforgettable addition to the red carpet. As a matter of fact, this gown had a distinctly bridal flare to it, and we’re thinking it may launch a ~mega~ wedding dress trend.

As for her bling, Sofía opted for her favorite, Lorraine Schwartz, to pile on the jewels in the form of some seriously stunning drop earrings and a statement ring in addition to her massive engagement ring (also by Lorraine Schwartz). A sleek high ponytail with playful bangs completed the look.

Sofía never falls short in the sartorial department, and we always look forward to her killer fashion choices.

The actress is part of the Modern Family pack on the red carpet tonight, showing support for the show as it’s up for its eighth Outstanding Comedy Series nod. Vergara and the rest of the cast have come a long way since their first Emmys appearance together. And while we can’t know if they’ll take home the win or not, we’re confident in saying that Sofía and all the Modern Family folks always take home the prize as one of the best-dressed casts at the awards show.
