Sofia Vergara threw a “Joechella” themed birthday party for Joe M
Four time Emmy nominated actress Sofia Vergara is now nominated for Best Girlfriend in the Life Awards. That’s because the Modern Family actress threw hubby Joe Manganiello the coolest Coachella-themed birthday party for his 40th, cleverly called “Joechella.” We already know that the Vergara-Manganiellos know how to party — who could forget their stunning wedding in 2015 — but this birthday bash looks like a new level of fun. Hello, Fergie was there! Photos of the rock-concert themed bash at the W Hotel have surfaced, as if we needed evidence that everyone was having the time of their lives.
The happy couple posed together and were clearly gearing up for the big night. The festivities included a performance by the ’80s metal tribute band, Steel Panther. According to E Online, Joe joined the band to sing some classics like Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child of Mine,” The Kinks’ “You Really Got Me” and some, um, more modern songs like Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way.”
Sofia’s son Manolo was in attendance and was obviously inspired by Steel Panther’s stylings, both musical and otherwise. He also captured this awesome moment with Fergie as the two danced along to the band’s
Also in attendance was Sofia’s Modern Family costar Jesse Tyler Ferguson with his handsome husband, Justin Mikita, and basketball star Dennis Rodman.
This was the party of the year and we feel totally confident in calling it that even though it’s only been two weeks of 2017. Just look at this cake!
According to Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr, the birthday boy isn’t the only one who got up to sing with the band. Sofia also took the stage to perform what we can only imagine was an staggering rendition of a Bon Jovi song.
Consider the Manganiello-Vergaras officially the coolest couple ever. We can’t wait to see how these wannabe-rockstars continue to celebrate life together. We’ll be stalking it all on Instagram pretending we are right there with ’em!
