This artist is leaving beautiful works of graffiti art on snow-covered cars
The only good part about having to park on the street in the dead of winter is that your snow-covered car turns into a perfect canvas for drawing hilarious words and pictures. Other than that, nope.
That’s exactly what mysterious New York City graffiti artist Faust has been doing for the past few winters. Except, instead of writing funny words or drawing silly pictures, he draws beautiful graffiti calligraphy. And he doesn’t just do it on his own car, he leaves the drawings on the cars of strangers — pay that beauty forward. He also draws on other convenient and suitable canvases like sidewalks.
Chances are, the strangers don’t mind — snow is a lot easier to wipe away than spray paint. Plus, Faust’s art is so unique and gorg who is really going to complain?
Faust posts his work on his Instagram page — he’s mysterious, but not SO mysterious that you can’t find him on social obvi. Which we’re super happy about, because his work is pretty mesmerizing to look at.
Take a look at some of the snowy graffiti. Oh and p.s. snow isn’t his only canvas. Faust is doing some pretty rad work! So make sure to turn that Insta-glance into an Insta-deep-dive.
