Snoop Dogg, RZA, and Common are all scheduled to appear on “The Simpsons,” and we seriously can’t wait
What show do we continue to watch every single Sunday? Well, The Simpsons, of course! And that’s why we’re so intrigued by the news that Snoop Dogg, RZA, and Common will voice Simpsons characters on an upcoming episode of the show.
The episode will be focused around The Great Gatsby, and it’ll actually be a full hour long. This is somewhat of a rarity for The Simpsons — in fact, in the show’s history, this will be the first episode ever that surpasses a half hour. Technically, even the famous “Who Shot Mr. Burns?” episode was a two-parter.
While the episode itself was announced back in August, hearing that the three legendary icons will be lending their voices is definitely news.

The three of them won’t have to worry much about their acting skills, as they’ll be playing themselves. The episode, currently titled “The Great Phatsby,” will run this January.
Keegan-Michael Key will also be helping out with this historical Simpsons episode, as will Taraji P. Henson.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode will focus around a friendship that Mr. Burns develops with a hip-hop mogul named Jay G.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the story? You have ample time to catch up. If you don’t have time to read the classic book by F. Scott Fitzgerald, don’t forget that Leonardo DiCaprio starred in a film based on the book just three years ago. Trust us — you’ll enjoy the episode so much more if you know the background!
