Snoop Dogg did Reddit’s Secret Santa exchange this year, and his gifts were totally Snoop-tastic
In the lead-up to the holidays, Reddit is running their annual online Secret Santa exchange. It’s actually the world’s largest, Guinness World Record-holding online Secret Santa, and Reddit-using celebrities often get involved too. AKA drop some totally epic gifts into the mix.
Competing for the title of ‘Greatest Secret Santa’ is Snoop Dogg, who contributed the most perfect Snoop Dogg-themed gifts. They were kind of random, but brilliant.
You know, like a Snoop-Dogg millionaire t-shirt, some fancy slippers, a mini-drone (yup, because people own drones now) and even some green tea and baby powder! Someone was very happy and surprised to receive this box of goodies. They were all wrapped in gold paper, because of course they were.
"Stuff like this never happens to me, like ever. I got a message from reddit saying my Santa contacted them and told them my package had been shipped. I joked with my husband about it being a celebrity. Well jokes on me."
LOL. We’re excited for this excited gift receiver! Snoop, you’re pretty awesome.
And it’s great to see someone of Snoop Dogg’s stature get involved in such a feel-good endeavor. Bill Gates also contributed gifts (like Minecraft edition Xbox One) and we’re hoping that the two of them inspire other celebs to join in years to come (because let’s be real — who doesn’t want to receive a super thoughtful gift from a majorly famous person?).
And remember, Secret Santas can also be executed on a small-scale (remember how they did it in Friends?). Grab some friends or family members, organize the names…and you’re good to go! It can be a great way to lessen the overwhelming nature of holiday gift-giving, and ensure that everyone feels included.
