Danielle Brooks crushes it in this “Lip Sync Battle” sneak peak

Ever wonder what song Taystee would want to lip sync to in Litchfield? Well, worry no more. Danielle Brooks will be on Lip Sync Battle, and it looks like she’s paying homage to the great Bon Jovi. Oh yes — the Orange Is The New Black star will be singing “Livin’ On A Prayer.” And even better, she’ll be competing against her co-star, Uzo Aduba.

While we’ve only got a small peek at what to expect, we can already tell it’s going to be dynamic. Brooks pretty much morphs into Jon Bon Jovi himself, with the big hair and the ’80s ensemble.

And boy, does she know how to get the crowd worked up.

It looks like Brooks has incorporated dance into her routine, which is a must in terms of the show. We just have no clue if it’ll be enough to beat Aduba. (Fingers crossed that we get a chance to see part of Aduba’s performance soon. We’re super curious to see what song she selects.)

This isn’t the first time that two Orange Is The New Black co-stars went head-to-head. Back in 2016, Samira Wiley performed against Laverne Cox — and while the battle was a tough one, Wiley was declared the winner.

In fact, during the behind the scenes footage taken for their episode, Cox gave Brooks and Aduba some solid advice for their battle.
