This video of a teenager setting a snapping record is kinda impossible to stop watching

A lot of us have weird hidden talents that won’t really serve us well in life (other than being a fun anecdote when you’re not sure what to say at a party). But then you get some people who find a way to take their talent the useful level, like this guy who set a world record for snapping.
According to Mashable, a Japanese student has just broken the Guinness World Record for the most finger snaps in a minute because yes, that’s a thing. It’s 2017 — everything is a thing.
During a Japanese TV show, Satoyuki Fujimara was able to snap his fingers 296 times in one minute in the presence of a Guinness World Record judge to make sure it was all official/
The taped segment showing off his crazy talent was then reviewed by the judge and two sound engineers to ensure all those clicky-click sounds were only made by Fugimara snapping his index finger and his thumb, which is apparently an official rule to hold this world record title.
Fujimura said his mother taught him his unique finger snapping technique when he was a teenager that helped him land this mesmerizing talent that we can’t stop watching. His face tells it all.

Now, not only does he have a crazy trick to pull out at the next party, but he has a certificate to show off all that hard work. Kudos, Fugimara!
