Snapchat just blessed the world with these insane new features

So here’s the lowdown on Snapchat’s new features: they are really fun (and will make you want to connect with fellow Snapchatters more than you already do)!

The popular app announced these additional services today, and they will (in Snapchat’s words) give you “A Whole New Way to See Yourself(ie)“:

1) They’ve added Lenses: this feature allows you to age yourself, to become a Halloween-esque creature, and to throw up a rainbow (because why not?!). All you have to do is open the Snapchat camera, press and hold on your face, and select whatever option catches your eye. Then, you follow the on-screen instructions and BAM! You can instantly transform yourself from the comfort of your phone.

2) For those who want to repeat the message that they’re sent, the Replay feature is here to make those dreams come true. “We’ve provided one Replay per Snapchatter per day, sometimes frustrating the millions of Snapchatters who receive many daily Snaps deserving of a Replay,” reads the announcement. “But then we realized — a Replay is like a compliment! So why stop at just one?” In other words: you can purchase extra Replays. Although, you can only Replay a Snap one time – that’s it. But it will cost ya.

3) Last – but, of course, not least – users can earn Trophies (which can be pulled-down when you’re on the camera screen). This feature pays tribute to the Snapchatters who use different aspects of the app. I mean, who doesn’t love to be celebrated and receive all the trophies?
