“Slime Sauce” ketchup is a dream/nightmare come true for every ’90s kid

Ever wish you could go on Slime Time Live? That dream might be dead forever, but now, you can bring slime home with you — and eat it. Nickelodeon and Walmart have teamed up to create a condiment that looks just like green slime, and if you’re missing those ’90s Nick days, you’re definitely going to want to grab a bottle.

According to Thrillist, this concoction is actually bright green ketchup made under Walmart’s Great Value label. It’s not actually slime, but you can put it all over your fries and burgers and pretend it is. And at $2.58 a bottle, it’s a really cheap way to relive your childhood.

This is totally reminding us of the days when Heinz released ketchup in different colors, which was gross and awesome at the same time.

But this colorful ketchup actually has some serious nostalgia attached, and we have a feeling adults are going to be picking it up for themselves (not their kids!) during their next grocery trip.

You probably don’t want to squirt it all over yourself , but it’s close enough to bring back all those happy memories, right? The ultimate ’90s kid dream was to be covered in that glorious green liquid on live television, and this is the next best thing to actually being able to do that.

And if you’d rather have the kind of slime you can play with instead of eat, that’s doable, too. It’s really easy to make slime, and with the right food coloring, you can get it looking identical to the stuff from Nick.

Now that one dream is coming true, we just have to collectively cross our fingers and hope somebody decides to bring Dunkaroos back. Hey, it could happen.
