Man can sleep anywhere, has the selfie to prove it

On Thursday, Alexis Magnusson was going about her business when her husband Lance texted her a selfie. Though, it wasn’t your average selfie — he was fast asleep, and the photo was taken by a mysterious but smiling man. Wait, what?

“I got [the photo] yesterday afternoon,” Alexis told ABC News on Friday. “I texted back and said, ‘Who is this?’ I didn’t hear anything back, but I just thought it was so funny that I posted it for my friends.”

Of course, you can guess what happened next: After Alexis posted the photo of Lance sleeping on Facebook, it spread like wildfire. It was so popular with her Facebook friends that she shared it on Imgur. And now, it has over 3.2 million views.

“My husband can fall asleep anywhere,” she continued with a laugh. “He’s had an exhausting week. He works for the Department of Defense so he flies out to the east coast a couple times a month from Silverdale, Washington.”

No kidding! If this picture if any indication, Lance can really sleep. We’re talking about that earbuds-in, mouth-open kind of sleep. The calming kind, where you have sweet dreams of being Amy Schumer’s BFF and Ryan Gosling’s #1 girl.

But we still have one question: Who’s the man in the picture? That would be Lance’s co-worker Matt. Ah, makes sense.

“I was just kind of blown away,” Lance told ABC News. “It’s just crazy. Matt and I were kind of joking about it. … He said he was gonna put the picture in the trip report so everyone at work could see it.”

Sounds like they already did, Lance. They already did.
