Sir John, Beyoncé’s longtime makeup artist, is launching not one, but TWO makeup lines
Makeup artist Sir John is undoubtedly one of the most in-demand artists in Hollywood. His impressive resumé includes being the go-to makeup artist for A-list celebs like Jourdan Dunn, Ashley Graham, and his most well-known client, Beyoncé. Since 2015, Sir John has also been part of the L’Oréal Paris brand, as its Consulting Celebrity Makeup Artist, and has just joined ALLEVEN London as the Global Brand Ambassador.
Now, in a recent interview with WWD, Sir John revealed, to our sheer delight, that he is currently working on his very own line of cosmetics. Actually—he has not one but two in the works. As he follows in the footsteps of major makeup artists like Pat McGrath and Charlotte Tilbury, who have both launched their own line of cosmetics in the last few years, we’re sure that Sir John’s line will be a massive hit.
“I have two licensing deals,” Sir John said to WWD. “Some things are coming out this year and I think everyone’s going to be super surprised about who I’m partnering with.
Consider us officially intrigued. The makeup artist’s long list of celeb clients means that anything is really possible, but of course, we can go ahead and dream that one of those partnerships is with Beyoncé herself, who, in our humble opinion, is long overdue for a makeup line of her own.
