Sia’s upbeat music video for “Move Your Body” is a retro-lover’s dream
If there’s one artist out there who knows how to make quality music videos, it’s Sia. Known for her incredible visual tributes to songs like “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart,” Sia just released a new video for “Move Your Body” that’ll make you feel something completely different — nostalgia.
In fact, if you’ve ever gotten a family portrait done at the mall, you might (very, very loosely) relate to this one. But, this song isn’t just an ’80s party — in true Sia fashion, her vocals truly add a whole new level to the song. And like most of Sia’s videos, a story is told.
We have a feeling that this is going to turn into yet another hit for Sia.

You might have gotten used to see in Maddie Ziegler star in Sia’s videos, but this one stars yet another Dance Moms girl from the Abby Lee Dance Studio — Lilliana Ketchman.
While Lily was first introduced on the ALDC’s mini-team, she quickly moved up to compete on the elite team. So, starring in the video for a widely known pop star is pretty big.
While this is Lily’s first video, it might not necessarily be her last — in fact, Maddie has starred in five of Sia’s videos, including her debut of “Chandelier.” When Sia spots young talent, she definitely holds onto it.
“Move Your Body” is rumored to have originally been written for Shakira — but, we’re pretty happy that Sia, who often writes songs for other musical artists, decided to hold onto it for herself. It’s definitely becoming one of our new favorites, and our top request on the dance floor!
