Sia to headline concert for reproductive rights and we’re #inspired
Australian singer/songwriter Sia has been in the news a lot lately. Her mesmerizing single Cheap Thrills hit number one on the charts last month, not to mention the fact that she was the first 40-year-old woman in almost 16 years to top the charts (YAS QUEEN!).
But the artist is making waves for another reason this week: It was just announced that she’ll be headlining a free concert for abortion rights in Cleveland on September 10th.

The concert will be organized by the All Access Coalition, a group that raises abortion awareness, as well as aims to increase access to the procedure for all women.
Sia released a statement about her decision to participate in the event, saying that, “All Access is such an inclusive group that I’m proud to be a part of this. We all need to stand together and be a part of creating the future we hope to see. There is so much support out there for an inclusive, equitable society that it’s time we showed our collective power.”
Sia will be joined by several others celebs for the cause, including Leslie Jones, Natalia Lafourcade, and Jessica Williams. Plus, All Access plans to hold a series of concerts to raise awareness all over the country on the same night (lineups still TBD).
It always makes us happy to see celebrities using their voices to stand up for what they believe in. Thanks Sia, for trying to make the world a healthier place for women!
