Sia Revealed She’s a Grandmother Just a Month After Announcing She’s a Mom

We’re sending all our love and well wishes to Sia, who just announced that she’s a brand-new grandmother, just weeks after announcing she had adopted two sons in 2019. In a new interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, she shared that her youngest son just welcomed two children of his own—and this is truly the dose of sweetness we needed today.

“My youngest son just had two babies. I’m just immediately horrified,” Sia joked. “No, I’m cool. They call me Nana. I’m trying to get them to call me Lovey, like Kris [Jenner]. I’m like, ‘Call me Lovey.'”

ICYMI, back in May, the “Chandelier” shared that she had become a recent mom to two boys, telling co-hosts of SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up that she’d adopted two teenagers about to age out of foster care. Her sons are both now 19, and she opened up more about the adoption process, sharing in an interview with iHeartRadio Canada that her sons had “suffered a lot of trauma being in the foster care system,” and that she was glad to have resources to help them heal.

“It’s really been really up and down, but mostly up, and they’re both doing so much better than when we first got together, so I just feel lucky ’cause I’ve got resources to help with trauma and all that sort of stuff,” she said, adding that “both of them have suffered a lot of trauma being in the foster care system, moving among 18 different homes each throughout their lives.

She added, “they told me that nobody cared for them from the heart…It’s been really nice to be able to care from the heart for them.”

We’re sobbing by how much love fills Sia’s rapidly growing family, and we wish them so much happiness. Of course, if there could be a cooler grandma out there than Kris J, it’s Sia, so whether it’s “Nana” or “Lovey,” her grandkids are lucky to have her.
