Five Wits Moisturizing Shampoo, $25
I was recently in New York City for a quick trip, and I stopped by Blackstones salon for a trim from celebrity hairstylist Joey Silvestera. It was there that I discovered my love of Blackstones’ signature hair care line, Five Wits. Their moisturizing shampoo is DAMN GOOD. When it comes to shampoo, I’m all about scent, baby. And this definitely makes my top list of best-smelling shampoos I’ve ever smelled in my entire life.
White Lilac Inc. Rainbow Paper Plates, $9 (set of 12)
I love the idea of having festive paper plates on hand for casual entertaining, and I’m obsessed with these cheerful ones from White Lilac. Eating macaroni and cheese off of a rainbow plate is so much more whimsical than eating it off of a plain old white plate.
Penhaligon’s Quercus Classic Candle, $55
If you’re headed home for Labor Day weekend and need a hostess gift, consider an ultra-fancy candle from Penhaligon’s. You can’t go wrong with any of their impeccable scents, but this one has notes of citrus, basil, jasmine and cardamom. Next time I visit home, I’m definitely gifting this to my mom (spoiler alert, mom, if you’re reading this).
Derma-E Radiance Toner, $14.95
If you need a super hydrating toner (hello, fall! also hello, dry skin!) that smells like crushed flowers, you should probably try out this product by Derma-E. It truly will make your skin radiate.
Calvin Klein Black Moto Jeans, $98
An easy way to make your demure office cardigan or blouse look a little more dangerous is with a pair of black moto jeans, the leather jacket of pants. Pair these with some combat boots or heels, and you’ll be channeling Sandra Dee in no time (but in a much better, less misogynistic way than the movie).
BP. Colorblock Faux Leather Tote, $49
You know what I love more than anything? A richly colored bag that looks expensive but is only $50. This burgundy tote is your new fall staple.
