NARS Audacious Lipstick in “Olivia,” $34
I just bought this dark, dark cherry red to update my fall lip color arsenal. While I’ll always find room for my fave orange-reds and pinks, it’s time to introduce darker, vampier colors. NARS has the best reds, by the way — and the best formulas. “Olivia” is super hydrating and glides on with even, super-pigmented color.
Floral Stripe Infinity Scarf, $34.50
Whenever I’m feeling the mean reds, I just throw on a scarf. This one is light enough for warm autumn afternoons and goes with just about anything.
Mountains Temporary Tattoo, $3
Love tats but don’t want to commit? (I get it — I have two that I’m sick of, oops.) Get yourself some cute temporary tattoos. This mountain pseudo ink is gorgeous and just subtle enough to look real.
Le Creuset Sugar Pink Saucepan, $180
I just about fell over when I found out Le Creuset has a line of millennial pink pots and pans. OK, so technically they’re calling it “sugar pink,” but either way it’s that perfect shade of dusty rose that has always had a place in my heart. Le Creuset’s saucepan is a bit outta my price range, so for now this baby will just have to show up in my millennial pink dreams.
Farmgirl Flowers Red Velvet Echeveria, $48
I was out of town during an insane heat wave, and I foolishly didn’t arrange for anybody to water my plants. I came home to some dead as a doornail house plants. It was so sad! So now I need to spruce up my place with some new plants, and this gorgeous Red Velvet Echeveria is just perfect.
Lack of Color “The Cruz Panama” Straw Hat, $151.68
You might think straw hats are just for summer, but they actually make a perfect fall transition accessory — especially in Southern California. I love this handwoven one from Lack of Color. I’d wear it with my new cornflower blue maxi dress.
