Froot Loops Scented Cereal Bowl Candle, $22
OK, so a “joke candle” sounds like something I’d get my brother in the 4th grade. But this candle shaped like a bowl of Froot Loops with a spoon in it is just too perfect. It looks so real! But upon closer inspection, you’ll see the little candle wicks sticking out. And yes, it smells like Froot Loops!!
Shoshanna One-Piece Swimsuit, $240
Bathing suit shopping is one of those things that’s so easy and not at all annoying. Record scratch. Just kidding! Typically, it can be a huge headache to find something that fits right. But this darling suit from Shoshanna has flattering lines in all the right places. It’s an instant classic, but also unlike any other one-piece you’ll find.
Rebecca Taylor Midi Dress, $529 (was $595)
I don’t have any summer weddings on my social calendar, but if I did I would absolutely wear this beautiful ruffle number from Rebecca Taylor.
Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo, $26
Finally! A dry shampoo for brunettes that doesn’t FEEL like dry shampoo. It doesn’t leave any residue behind, and if you’re a Moroccan Oil product lover, you know how decadent it smells. Plus, it just makes your hair feel CLEAN, which is the entire point.
Tencel Romper, $40 (was $69.95)
It’s the shorterall, slightly grown up. Light and loose, this romper is now your go-to for all summer days.
“The Rules Do Not Apply: A Memoir” by Ariel Levy, $15.97
Just finished Ariel Levy’s The Rules Do Not Apply, a memoir that encapsulates award-winning Levy’s relationship, career, and motherhood — and how it all fell apart. The idea of women “having it all” is so fetishized and I’m happy we’re finally starting to say, “We probably won’t have it all. Shit happens. We are not perfect people. It’s okay. It’s not okay. It is what it is.” This book was something I desperately needed to read, and I feel like you’ll need it, too — regardless of where you are in life.
