Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Turban, $30

Sephora

OK, I’ll admit it: I wash my hair too often. I know that’s technically bad for it…but ah, well. It’s important to me to use a hair towel that is super-absorbent, because I like to cut down on blowdryer time as much as possible. My fine hair does not do well with too much heat. I recently switched from my old towel to the Aquis hair towel, and it seriously shortened my shower routine. I wrapped my wet hair up in the towel, and I was shocked at how quickly it dried without any heat! I noticed that the label said it reduces frizz, but I was skeptical at first because I didn’t think a towel could actually do that. But it really did. Typically after my hair dries, I have to run a flat iron through it to get rid of a few stubborn frizzies. But this time I didn’t have to! This towel might be my favorite new discovery.

MVMT “Lexington” Watch, $125

MVMT

I don’t wear a watch regularly, and I’ve decided I want to change that. There’s something uniquely sophisticated and adult about wearing a watch. Plus, you don’t have to glance at your iPhone to check the time. I’m currently coveting the watches from MVMT. They’ve got a fabulous collection of glamorous timepieces. I especially love their Lexington style in brushed rose gold stainless steel. It has this old Hollywood vibe with an updated twist.

Lancer 30-Count Makeup Remover Wipes, $40

Neiman Marcus

I’ve been on a mission recently to try high-end makeup remover wipes and make the switch from my typical drugstore ones. And I have to say, I can definitely tell the difference — especially when it comes to how oily my face feels afterward. My biggest gripe with makeup remover wipes is that they leave my face feeling slick and oily. But I’m obsessed with Lancer’s wipes, because my face felt bright and fresh afterwards, not greasy at all. And most importantly, they got rid of every last nitty gritty bit of mascara.

Acqua Di Parma Colonia Pura Eau De Cologne, $180

Barneys

To me, this scent is the ultimate late-September fragrance. It comes from ultra-fancy Italian brand Acqua Di Parma, and while it’s technically a cologne, it combines fresh and robust notes for a unisex effect. It’s got this great citrusy scent mixed with a punch of spicy coriander. To me, it smells like what riding your bike through the Italian countryside on a crisp fall day must feel like. You know that episode of Master of None where Aziz Ansari’s character is riding his vintage bicycle through the cobbled streets of Modena? That’s what this cologne reminds me of. Fresh, bold, idyllic.

Williams-Sonoma No Kid Hungry Sloth Spatula, $12.95

Williams-Sonoma

Kristen Bell designed a sloth spatula for Williams-Sonoma, which might be my favorite thing. Oh wait, it gets better —a portion of the proceeds goes to charity!
