I officially have a favorite pair of sweatpants. Months ago, when I was still pulling on pants with buttons and zippers, any pair of sweatpants was my favorite. But after more than half a year of working from home, I’ve started ranking my loungewear—and currently at the top of my list is Vuori’s Performance Joggers.
Full disclosure: I was a bit unsure about the $84 price point at first. It was more than I was ever willing to spend on sweatpants, but after the first moment I slipped them on, I was hooked. Slim-fitting yet unrestricting, the cropped joggers hit about mid-rise on my torso and feature an elastic tie waistband. They’re so flattering that every time I pull them on to walk my dog, I feel like I’ve nailed that effortless “off-duty model” look (even if I haven’t washed my hair in a few days). And as someone who’s on the taller side, I appreciate that these joggers don’t ride up on my legs when I’m moving around like similar styles often do.
As for the material, I’m fairly certain these joggers are made out of butter. They’re silky soft to the touch, but unlike other cozy fabrics (think: cotton), they’re moisture-wicking and incredibly breathable. Between the breathability and the four-way stretch, I’d imagine these pants would keep me comfortably cool during an intense workout or a stuffy 6-hour flight—though at the moment, they’re just keeping me comfortable while I lounge on my couch.
Clearly, I’m not the only one singing the praises of these pants: More than 8,400 shoppers gave them a perfect five-star review. One person wrote, “I’ve had these on for 48 hours straight. They’re butter soft and don’t bag out with wear. I’m so happy with this purchase! Can’t wait to get more colors.”
Not to brag, but I’ve had these on for 72 hours straight.
