While enjoying a very sunny Sunday, Selena Gomez showed her followers her swimwear via Snapchat video (as you do). While Gomez shielded her eyes from the sun, we caught sight of her white tank top-styled bikini top. Thanks to Teen Vogue, we can snag the same bikini top for our swimwear collection, too.
Teen Vogue reports that the singer was wearing Tavik’s Marlowe Top ($74). It has two functional snaps in the front that make it look like a classic henley top. And according to the description on Tavik’s website, this bikini also offers a hidden underwire, so you’ll remain fully supported.
Even though white bathing suits are challenging to pull off (they can get very sheer when you add water), they’re going to be popular this summer. And tank top-style bikini tops are also coming back in style. So if you’re looking for a cheaper dupe to Gomez’s Tavik selection, we’ve got you covered.
This scoop piping top from Aerie ($15) is clean-looking and simple. The ruching in the front is flattering and, like the Tavik top, adds understated detailing to a previously plain piece.
ASOS offers a Wolf & Whistle zip-up bikini top ($37), similar to that from Tavik. Its style and horizontal ribbed texture is almost exactly like Gomez’s version. And the gold zipper is an interesting alternative to the double snaps.
Another option is to hone your sewing skills and transform a henley shirt into a DIY bikini top. It might not be the most supportive thing you’ve ever worn, but at least you have the glory of telling people you made it yourself.
Seriously, why not start a DIY bikini revolution? We’re in.
