We imagine the late ’60s and ’70s felt a lot like what we’re feeling today: politically-charged and uncertain, with youth leading the way to revolution. Maybe this is why we’ve seen such a resurgence in eccentric bohemian fashion that allows us to make our own fun and live in a technicolor world. A celebrity who’s on our same page is Lorde, who wore a psychedelic jumpsuit courtesy of Celine at her performance during Bonnaroo.

The look was a total throwback, but of course Lorde updated it with her futuristic aesthetic.

The singer wore a sheer, oversized paisley jumpsuit at her performance, owning the wide-legged style like no one’s business. She paired the piece with a black belt and black bodysuit, showing some skin while leaving some to the imagination as well.

Her hair was fixed into pigtail french braids, an update to the beloved style. She kept her makeup simple, opting for bronzed lids and bold brows.

But let’s just take a second to go back to this jumpsuit. It’s sheer, but as the lights dim, the colors pop. Does it actually glow in the dark?! Probably not, but it may as well. We love the fuchsias, lime greens, and rich violets that comprise the piece. And if you’re also inspired to wear your own psychedelic jumpsuit, we’ve rounded up a few cheaper alternatives.
