If you’re an eco-friendly (and budget-conscious) bride, then rejoice! H&M’s delivering one of the most whimsical wedding options we’ve seen to date. And as a part of the brand’s latest installment in their Conscious Collection, you’d best believe it’s every bit as sophisticated as it is sustainable.
With an illusion-paneled V-neckline and a sweeping tulle skirt, this white wedding gown looks like a literal breath of fresh air. It’s made from innovative, sustainable materials, which the Conscious Collection pioneers. And clearly, H&M’s design team didn’t sacrifice any aesthetics when creating this beautiful, ethically-created confection.
Oh, and don’t worry about the bridesmaids either. Because this gorgeous new collection is also accommodating them with this pleated, petal-pink masterpiece.
This ethereal, bridesmaid-perfect gown, in particular, was crafted using H&M’s all new fabric, called Bionic, which is a polyester made entirely from recycled shoreline waste. To us, this is by far the best example we’ve ever seen of transforming trash into treasure.
Of course, H&M’s beautifully sustainable new installment to its Conscious Collection includes even more goodies than just these two gowns. It’s full of cocktail dresses, satiny slips, pretty prints, and more (perhaps wedding guest dresses?). There is also a menswear and kids line, in addition to unisex fragrances.
“For this year’s Conscious Exclusive collection at H&M, we thought not only about the look of the pieces but also how they feel and sound,” Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director, said. “It’s a collection that pleases all our senses and also our desire to be sustainable in everything we do.”
Can’t wait to shop the collection? Well, mark your calendars for April 20th when the collection drops. We have a feeling this one may sell out fast!
