Carrie Bradshaw's fashion fantasies are realized: Sarah Jessica Parker is opening up her very own store
Everyone stop what you’re doing immediately — put down that sandwich and sit down, for we have news: Sarah Jessica Parker is opening a store — as in, a real live, brick and mortar store. THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Ever since those halcyon days of Sex and the City, we’ve wanted anything and everything to do with SJP and fashion. At first, it was just us desperately trying to copy every daring outfit she wore on the show (and for the most part failing miserably.) But, in the years that passed, Sarah Jessica created her much-coveted eponymous fashion line, bringing her incredible taste straight into the clutches of her devoted fans.
Until now, we could get her SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker wares at stores like Bloomingdales, Amazon, and Net-a-Porter, but this is the first time she’s ever devoted an entire boutique to her fashion brand.
The store will be located just outside of Washington D.C., inside the MGM National Harbor resort, in National Harbor, MD. Both the hotel and the boutique are set to open insanely soon, on December 8th.
In the boutique, you’ll be able to find Sarah Jessica’s SJP Collection shoe label, her little black dress collection, handbags, jewelry, and even more accessories.
Products in the boutique will range from about $30 to $700.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, she explained the opening of her new store:
We’re so happy for her! Clearly, fashion is one of her true passions, and it must be a thrill to finally have a shop dedicated to all her products. Now, how to get ourselves to that store the day it opens? Train tickets, anyone?
