There’s finally *real* footage of shirtless Kylo Ren on the internet, and what a time to be alive
The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here: Actual footage of Shirtless Kylo Ren has finally hit the internet. If this is the only thing you had on your vision board for 2018, then congrats!! And we didn’t even have to wait for the release of The Last Jedi on Blu-ray, DVD, and HD digital! Less than a month after the latest Star Wars movie hit theaters, Disney has given the people what we want — and what we want is to finally answer, once and for all, what the hell is happening with shirtless Kylo Ren’s pants??
In the latest episode of Star Wars‘ YouTube show, the appropriately titled “Star Wars Show,” host Andi Gutierrez sits down with some of the members of the Lucasfilm Story Group —Leland Chee, Pablo Hidalgo, Matt Martin, and Rayne Roberts — to discuss all things Rey, Poe, and porgs. Since we now can’t talk about Last Jedi without somehow working Kylo’s unprompted “beefcake” scene into the discussion, it doesn’t take long for Gutierrez to bring it up. During a discussion of Kylo and Rey’s Force Skype sessions, a nice shot of shirtless Kylo Ren is inserted in.
Because, like I said, Disney knows what we want. We want shirtless Kylo Ren now, and forever.
Wow, is it hot in here like we just landed on Mustafar or is it SHIRTLESS KYLO REN?
Guess this also answers the burning question: Is he wearing super high waisted pants, or does he have a bandage wrapped around his stomach? Well, not that I’ve been watching this .gif on loop for like an hour or something (whispers: I have), but it appears as if that’s all Kylo’s pants. He’s just into super high pants. Kylo, you do you. If that means wearing ridiculously high pants that go all the way up over your navel, then so be it. The First Order sure does have an interesting dress code.
Anyway, that’s all I came here to say. Shirtless Kylo Ren is finally here, so we can stop searching Reddit for (whispers: illegally taken) pictures of this scene. What a time to be alive, indeed.
