Shiri Appleby just wore the jumpsuit that finally makes us ready to try pantsuits

Shiri Appleby knows how to rock a killer jumpsuit. The UnREAL star appeared at the 23rd annual ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles this week looking glamorous as ever in a bright red jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and midriff cutout.

Like her character Rachel Goldberg, Appleby has always been one to be bold and take risks, and we love the sartorial extension.

It’s been a big year for Appleby, from her portrayal as the cynical TV producer Rachel Goldberg, to going behind the scenes herself to take a shot at directing on the show (you can watch her prowess on “Casualty,” episode six of season two).

In an interview with Vulture, the actress talked about the confidence building experience of getting behind the camera and her meteoric comeback after several years during which she “couldn’t count on acting anymore.”

“Being able to be the person that’s finally calling the shots and saying, this is how I read it and how I imagine it — it’s very liberating to be able to speak your mind with confidence, Appleby said. “I definitely say things on set when I’m just the actor, but I’m kind of hiding and secretive about it.
