If there’s one thing we learned in 2015, it’s that fandoms only get stronger as time goes on. And the proof, of course, lies in this year’s most shipped couples on Tumblr.
Just in case you’re like “what is this word you say, ‘shipping’?”, we shall explain. Shipping is when fans pair two people (who may or may not be fictional) together in a romantic context. While these relationships don’t always exist in real life, that’s kind of the best part. You can allow your imagination to run wild as you creatively dream up an ideal love life for the people and characters you admire.
Most importantly, shipped couples can give us all something to aspire to. In other words, #RelationshipGoals. Now, let’s see what we can learn from the Top 5, most reblogged ships of 2015! And yes, a list was compiled, because the Internet is a beautiful, beautiful place.
Coming in at #5 is a fairy tale favorite: Captain Swan (aka Captain Hook and Emma Swan from Once Upon a Time).
In a beautiful twist of fate, this TV couple has taught us that true love can withstand life’s greatest obstacles—even death. Captain Hook may have gone to the Underworld in the name of love, but Emma isn’t going to give up on him. She’s even willing to share a heart with him so that they can be together. (Okay, now we’re tearing up a bit.)

Because of this, she acts as his emotional anchor. Despite all the bizarre, deadly, and downright crazy situations these two have gotten themselves into, Destiel has survived. The perfect example: when Castiel brought Dean back from Hell, proving that they were destined to be together forever.

They met online in the comment’s section on one of Phil’s videos, met in person in 2009, and quickly became friends who’ve collaborated on many successful projects.
