Reacting to Shia LaBeouf’s engagement in the most Shia-way possible

Our Louis Stevens has grown up SO FAST. Just yesterday, he was trying to buy his own slurpee machine, and look where he is now. He’s engaged.

According to Us Weekly, Shia LaBeouf got down on one knee and popped the question to his girlfriend, Mia Goth. While the two haven’t ~officially~ confirmed this new relationship status to the masses, Goth has been spotted wearing a big ol’ diamond ring on her finger, and in recent conversations, LaBeouf has referred to her as his “fiancée.”

Obviously, this is a reason to celebrate, and we’re so happy for this new couple. And since it’s LaBeouf we’re talking about here, we’ve got to celebrate in true LaBeouf form. Unfortunately, since we don’t have the time to do a performance art piece, like roll through the streets of Los Angeles in a giant hamster ball with quotes from Holes all over it, we’re going to celebrate LaBeouf the best way we know how: via reaction gifs. When we first heard the news, we were damn excited

Then we needed to celebrate like his bff, Twitty, by shoving a ton of food in our face

Then, let’s be honest, we were a little bit nervous about this news

Because, it’s Shia

He’s done some, shall we say, questionable things these past few years

But that doesn’t mean our love for him was faltered in any way

He was in Disturbia, and that was a great movie

He looked really good in Disturbia, sorrynotsorry

And let’s be real, he’s probably going to look good for the rest of his life

Even if the next thing he does is submerge himself underwater in a shark cage while teaching himself how to code on a live-stream

Or bungee-jump 154 times, reciting a different Shakespearian sonnet every time
