This video of shelter cats sleeping on tiny doll beds is exactly what you need to see today

Shelters are vital to keeping animals safe and healthy. But they are often short on resources. One shelter in Toronto can thank Swedish furniture store IKEA. Because IKEA gave them adorable, tiny doll beds — which cats love.

IKEA Canada gave ten Duktig beds to the Etobicoke Humane Society. The beds are designed for dolls. But cats love them, too. Furthermore, the shelter posted an adorable video. And the video shows the cats trying out their new beds. Consequently, it’s probably the best thing you’ll see all day.

In a Facebook post, the Etobicoke Humane Society noted that their facility is nice and clean. But the floors are cold and hard. And not ideal for a cat to sleep on.

“A HUGE thanks to IKEA Canada, the Etobicoke location for donating these adorable doll beds," they wrote. "Now the cats are elevated off the cold, hard floor. Our floors are easy to clean but not terribly comfortable to lay on. Now cats like Catsby and Frankie have beds of their own to curl up in.

In addition to the beds, IKEA Canada also made a donation to the shelter. Because it’s a volunteer-run, no-kill shelter. And it relies on donations to keep its furry residents happy.

We hope the cats get adopted soon. But we love that the shelter is keeping them comfortable as they await adoption. And it seems like the beds are a huge hit. Hopefully, we’ll see more shelters begin taking on this approach.
