Shark Sauce is the secret product you need for perfect skin
For those of us obsessed with beauty, we probably all have some sort of fantasy product when it comes to skincare. After getting involved in the Asian beauty community, a woman named Chel Cortes turned a dream into reality by inventing her own product — Shark Sauce. It has a funny name, but the product is actually a hydrating serum that helps battle hyper-pigmentation (sans any sort of shark-related ingredient.)
In an interview with Racked, Cortes described how she coming up with the product after talking to a fellow beauty blogger who wanted a serum that contained 5% of niacinamide, an ingredient that is supposed to help fade skin discolorations and improve elasticity. She started posting the recipe for others to DIY, but soon after, began selling the product herself. It quickly became a hit and sold out in a matter of seconds.
If that wasn’t enough to make you consider using something called Shark Sauce on your face, Racked pointed out one Instagram comment regarding the serum that caught our attention: “It seriously makes my skin look like I bathed in unicorn tears, distilled fairy sweat, or kitten laughter.” SIGN US UP!
