Seth Rogen pranks grocery shoppers with talking fruit, and we’re dying
Seth Rogen is one funny dude. He’s one of the masterminds behind SuperBad, Pineapple Express, and This Is The End (to name just a few). And now, he’s bringing his comedic genius to…the supermarket.
While promoting his new film Sausage Party, Rogen recently pranked shoppers to show them that “our food has feelings.”
The actor (with the help of a production crew) placed remote-controlled talking cantaloupe, bread, and sausage in a super market (no, this is not made up). Then, they waited. And the results are priceless. Take a look for yourself:

Okay, if we weren’t sold on Sausage Party before, we are now 100 percent and irrevocably on board. The idea of a talking cantaloupe that taunts unsuspecting shoppers is genius enough in and of itself — so the fact that it’s merely a precursor to an entire movie has us PUMPED.
The movie premieres today and currently has an 83 percent “Fresh” score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes — which is pretty freaking high for a comedy. Not to mention it features a star-studded cast with the likes of Kirsten Wiig, Bill Hader, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, and Selma Hayek.
Okay, enough talk. Let’s just watch the trailer already:

Can’t breathe. Still laughing.
